Grange Farm

grange farmGrange Farm is a really spacious mid 19th Century Yorkshire Stone Farmhouse, well- furnished and full of character. The house offers accommodation, for maximum 14 persons, and is excellent for families wanting to holiday together.

The house has five bedrooms and two sitting rooms. One sitting room has a gas 'wood-burner effect' fire, this room also has a TV,  video and stereo/radio/cassette/CD. The second sitting room (we call it the yellow room) has a high vaulted beamed ceiling (see picture below). The spacious dining room has an open fire. The well equipped pine kitchen is next to dining room. There also is a conservatory which gives entrance to a south facing fenced garden and patio with garden furniture and barbecue.
First floor: two family rooms (double bed and full-size bunk-beds), two twin rooms, bathroom/WC, separate WC. Second Floor: attic conversion (sloping ceiling), into an excellent double bedroom and en-suite bathroom/WC. All the bedrooms have a TV and a wash basin.

Linen (duvets) is included. Electric, full gas central heating and hot water is also included. Coal or wood is locally available. The kitchen is equipped with a 110cm wide gas-oven/cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble-dryer, iron and ironing board. A cot & high chair are available. Private parking for up to 4 cars is next to the house. Sorry, but Grange Farm is a no smoking area, and we do not  allow any pets.

Grange Farm is in the village of High Hawsker, which is in the North York Moors National Park, mid way between Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay. Approximately 2.5 miles from each.
